Role Summary

Loop’s mission is to unlock the power of our professional relationships. The knowledge, opportunity, and collaborative potential inside your network is vast but difficult to access. We are developing mobile and desktop experiences that allow our users to discover, cultivate, activate, and expand their relationships with the use of AI and incredible design.

This is the first full-time product design role offered at Loop. We’ve finalized our seed financing and are excited to be growing our team. Loop is based in Brooklyn, NY and we’re ideally looking for a candidate excited for a hybrid work environment out of our DUMBO office. The role reports directly to the Chief Product and Technology Officer.

About You

• Hands on Designer with Leadership Potential: You want to lead the charge in creating a engaging and highly valuable product for professionals looking to unlock the potential of their network. You’re the first full time designer on the team and will work closely with the CPTO and CEO to bring our mobile and web products to life!
• High Output Designer: You excel at generating ideas and mockups quickly for product discovery and believe testing is critical. You love to share your work with others and enjoy fast paced environments.
• Collaborative: Gives and receives feedback and likes to work as part of a team. Ideally New York City based and able to collaborate (flexibly) in person at our DUMBO office. We believe in work flexibility, but also believe in-person collaboration for this position can increase speed, innovation, teamwork, and fun.
• Self Motivated: You are a self starter, can work well independently but are highly collaborate and incorporate feedback into your designs from stakeholders and customers.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product designs for our mobile and web products to redesign professional networking
• Participate in user research to understand customers, focusing on key user flows and pain points
• Create low-fidelity mockups and wireframes for ideation and testing
• Produce design solutions for customer “jobs to be done” to deliver customer value and delight
• Create high fidelity, visually stunning designs for our mobile first consumer experience

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong UX/UI portfolio showcasing your design process and projects, ideally for mobile consumer products.
• Experience conducting user research and turning insights into actionable designs.
• Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or similar.
• Startup experience is a major plus, but we also value motivated candidates who are looking to make a change from larger organizations into the startup world.
